2026 TerpAcademy Summit - Learn Live and At Your Own Pace

Through the live webinars, you’ll be able to earn 1.7 CEUs during the Summit. Simply watch additional workshops at your own pace to complete the full 2.5 CEUs. To help us organize workshop access, we ask that participants select their additional workshops before the end of 2026. You’ll then have until July 31, 2027 to view the recordings from this event (which will be edited and released gradually in the months following the live Summit), or you can use your credits toward other available workshops in the TerpAcademy Library to complete your CEUs. This format gives you flexibility—you’re not limited to only the workshops you attend live and can also watch sessions that happened during the same time slots later, helping you get the most out of the Summit.

TerpAcademy is an Approved RID CMP Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This Professional Studies program is offered for 2.5 CEU's at the 'Little/None', Some’, and 'Extensive' Content Knowledge Levels.

Coda Interpreter Retreat 2026

Join us for the first-of-its-kind retreat designed for Coda interpreters. Together, we will explore the unique complexities Codas face in today’s interpreting environment in a safe, confidential space.

Topics will include our relationships with the deaf community, complex Coda interpreter positionality between Deaf/Coda/hearing interpreting teams, consumers, and navigating cultural and linguistic boundaries. Additionally, we will also examine ways to thoughtfully reflect and respond to appropriated Coda narratives in our professional work.

This retreat is open to all hearing-deaf-parented interpreters and interpreting students who have at least one deaf/DeafBlind/hard-of-hearing parent. The retreat fee includes three nights at a secluded retreat center, all meals, and 2.0 RID Professional Studies CEUs.

This promises to be an enlightening, supportive, and enriching Coda experience.

Blue Mountain Retreat Center: 1032 Hoffmaster Rd, Knoxville, MD

All CEUs are approved through RID's Certification Maintenance Program and Associate Continuing Education Tracking Program. This program is offered for 1.6 PS & 0.4 PPO at all content levels (Some, Advanced, Teaching).
